The external trust cannot be validated

Recommended Posts

I have created a two ways external trust between a server 2003 (domain A) and 2008 (domain B) domain. I can verify the trust from domain A.

When I try to verify from domain B I get the following error:

The outgoing trust was successfully validated.

The secure channel (SC) reset on Active Directory Domain Controller \\test.ws.humfak.aau.com of domain ws.humfak.aau.com to domain hum.aau.com failed with error: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

I have tried to reset the trust password, but it did not help.

How do I fix that problem?

How do I fix that problem?

Well, after 6 days of waiting for a reply on this forum I would say "You wont find a fix here" Whether that is because "Nobody knows the answer", "Nobody understands the question", or people are just too bloody lazy, or bad mannered to be bothered to pass you on to a link that could help you, I dont know.

Try your luck here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsserver

John.
