Windows 7 start-up problem

Recommended Posts

I have just installed windows 7 in a system which also runs Vista.Long ago I had noticed that rarely Windows Vista failed to start in the loading screen but I didnt worry because after pressing the power button for 5 secs windows rebooted and everything was fine.I also thought it was one of these annoying vista problems(although I never had problems with vista)The problem now is that this is happening with windows 7 ultimate too.Does anyone else has this kind of problem?

Hi there.

Try pulling out all connections to your USB ports and then see if the problem still occurs.

I had one particular USB Card Reader that gave exactly the same symptoms you describe. A neighbour also with his HP Printer.

If the BIOS is baulking at one particular USB peripheral, that could explain why you are experiencing the same thing on two different operating systems.

John.

Thats right I hadnt heard of that.I believe its the gamepad.I had some problmes with installing its drivers and i think it might be that.I will try to disconnect it but I will be sure that the problem is solved only after a short period of time without start-up failure
