DWXVI
Ok, I run Windows XP Professional, and I wanted to test the rare "Windows Longhorn" out on my secondary 40 GB hard drive. I installed it, and my boot loader now has two options labeled "Windows XP Professional." I deleted Longhorn (which was started up by choosing the top Windows XP Professional option) but the boot loader gives me the same two options. Could anyone help me configure my boot loader file so that I can boot straight to Windows XP Prof. instead of having to bother with the choices? Alan2273
Boot from the Windows XP CD, select to start recovery console, and run fixmbr. This will rewrite the WinXP bootloader into the mbr.
