streppuiu
I have a compressed partition on a hard disk (the HDD contains only this partition) that contains the operating system, thus the pc boots from it. The Windows XP installation on this partition got corrupted, so it can't boot anymore. My question is this: if I put the harddisk in another computer, will I see all the files on it even if it is compressed ?Thanks in advance
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I think you should be able to.But have you tried to recover your corrupted Windows system? Can you boot into Safe Mode, or Last Known Good Configuration? Have you tried a Windows Repair install?
