johdragon4
Am running 7 Pro 32bit OS on a Toshiba L550 i5duo / quad thread core 4 RAM 500G HD Ati radeon premium. Up to now I had the F11 function working perfectly and recently it has stopped working at all. Then after completing a restore - which lost my Kaspersky install as well ti started up again. However after a couple of critical MS updates it has gone back to not functioning. Hitting the F11 or the full screen in View drops the taskbar but only maginally reduces the size of the tools. menu, and address bars at the top. This has become a really frustrating problem to find a fix for as I have searched forums gallore and Google without any luck. The MS tech and other fixers help want money for finding the problem and I think as it is in all probability an OS problem that MS should be able to help without the cost, as the machine is only 7 months old!Can anyone who may have had this problem or know what the problem is help me out before I go stir crazy? Wil be most appreciated!!
Alan2273
You will probably get a more informed answer if you go on the Toshiba forum./>http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support
johdragon4
Thanks Alan I'll try there as I have tried my usual forum Whirlpool in Oz and the usual M$ ones and have been coming up with fixes but no go. I can only get the taskbar to go and am now thinking it might be a reg prob (don't like or know about in there)or HD croaking - but only 7 months old! So I shoot off and try Toshy.RegardsJohn
