Unable to login into windows 7

Hi all,

In my PC,i'm using windows xp. And along with that i've installed windows7.when i start the machine its showing both the operating systems windows xp & 7. From past two months i didnt used the windows 7. I forgot my password,when i was trying to open the windows 7 drive its asking for disk is not formated do you want to format. I have seen in Mycomputer-manage-diskmanagement there its showing the diskspace and free space also. I dont want to format the windows7, because in that i'm having my data. How can i recover the data with out formating is there any possibility.

Could any one suggest me in this.

2. If you are being told that the disk is not formatted then there is a severe error which may suggest the disk is faulty. It would be extremely difficult to recover your data but you could try something like Recuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva

3 When you are up and running again, make it a priority to prepare a backup or image of your computer, or at the very least, your data so that this disaster is not so severe if/when it happens again.
