groknet
HiI have an Acer computer that works fine except from thatwhen i start it after it has been turned off for long it will take several minutesbefore it starts, eg i have to push the start button long before it starts. If i shut it down after it has been used and start it again at once it will start fast.I have other computers and they start at once - what can be the reason this computeris so slow in start?Greetings grok
-pops-
Is this a desktop machine? If yes, then it may be the power supply unit on its way to failing.I've seen this effect several times.

-pops-
A new machine should be returned to the supplier for checkout whatever the reason for the delays.Power supply units can fail very early in their lives, others go on for many years without problems.
