Strange Mapped Drive Behaviour

Hi Everyone,

I am experiencing some strange issues with accessing a mapped drive (on a Windows 2000 Server) from Windows 7.

My Windows 7 computer is on a Windows 2000 Server domain, and the server has sharing enabled on several folders.

The main shared folder, for arguments sake, folder A, has a great deal of content on it, and it is mapped to my Windows 7 computer as "Z" drive.

Within folder A on my Windows 2000 Server there are many sub-folders, one of which is My Documents.

On my Windows 7 computer I have enabled Offline files, so that I can see my files when I am connected to my Domain, and whilst I am away (my Windows 7 computer is a laptop).

The contents of My Documents are never an issue, however I am only able to see the complete contents of drive "Z" some of the time.

When I attempt to access drive "Z" I either see:

1). All of the sub-folders (including My Documents) or

2). Only My Documents.

Rebooting either my Windows 2000 Server or my Window 7 computer tends to fix the issue and I am once again able to see all of the contents of my "Z" drive from my Windows 7 computer.

If anybody has seen this kind of behaviour and / or knows a way to fix what I am seeing it will be greatly appreciated.
