Howardbk Posted November 20, 2010 Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 My operating system is XP.I accessed the CMOS Setup Utility. Under Power Management Setup is a section Power on by mouse. I changed the disabled to Double-Click. I saved the change.I now put the computer in stand by mode. Double clicking the mouse does nothing. In order to revive the computer, I have to push the power button on the tower.In past computers, the light on the tower changed colors when put in stand by.
