Unattend

hi,

i want install a w2k server with a unattend installation. the networkcard is not listed and

i have the drivers on diskdrive a: (there is the response file too).

from there i want to install the driver with response for eample:

OemPreinstall = Yes

DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore

;OemFilesPath = \$OEM$\drivers\net

OemPnPDriversPath = Drivers\net

[OEMBootFiles]

Txtsetup.oem

[NetAdapters]

NIC1 = params.MS_TCPIP.NIC1

[params.MS_TCPIP.NIC1]

SpecificTo = params.NIC1

IPAddress = 156.109.135.39

SubnetMask = 255.255.255.0

but nw ingnore the commands and the installation is not succesfully. i dont know where is the error? can you help me?

Hello again comici, I have never used an unattended install, as I prefer to keep an eye on things as they happen. However, I have found the following Knowledgebase articles which I think may assist you in what you are doing.

M$ KB163153 how to use an answer file for unattended installs.

M$ KB254078 how to add an OEM componant to your answer file.

M$ KB262688 troubleshoot static ip issues with unattended installs.
