After the fact it didn't support my sound card, nor it did with the Internet, I decided to kick it out from my laptop. The problem is that whenever I like to boot without CD (you know this OS only wants to boot with a CD on my machine), so I'd boot to XP, it shows a very clear message, which must be common for you."Non-system Disk or System Disk Error"You know because of this I realized it wasn't my best day. Even worse, whenever I like to repair my PC from the nice recovery console from the XP CD, it asks for my password, which I introduced it and, what? -pops- Posted November 24, 2010 Report Share Posted November 24, 2010 A lot of time is spent by lots of people attempting to get their computer going again after some misapplied "improvements". What usually happens is that a re-install has to be done anyway as each "repair" sends the computer further an further into the land of no return.If I were you, I'd cut my losses now and restore from the backup you have (haven't you?) or re-install.
