After a while, it begin and than freeze again. This issue appear both on Normal and Safe Mode, PS/2 or USB connection. At Windows Event Log appear:An error occurred while enabling the mouse to transmit information. The device has been reset in an attempt to make the device functional.Source: i8042prt, Event ID: 41I've tried restarting PC, checking HDD for errors, malware searching etc. but nothing changed for good. From Task Manager, CPU, Memory are in normal values. The mouse works fine, I've tested it on my Thinkpad. What could be?

eltonzoto
The mouse was with PS/2. After it gave me problems, I changed it on USB. Now looks better, without errors on Event Log, but still the situation is not normal. It gives me occasional disconnect/connect, I hear the sound. This action does not appear at Event Log.thnx
