Ancient Mariner Posted January 31, 2011 Report Share Posted January 31, 2011 Greetings. Status: 1. Bios says "not installed", 2. "Drive A" not listed in "My Computer, 3. Device Manager lists the controller and floppy as "working normally", 4. Cannot read floppy. Obviously, something is wrong, but I have not been able to get help from the Dell forum - my Dimension 3000 computer not supported. I substituted a supposedly good floppy with same results. See Here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&SystemID=DIM_CEL_3000&os=WW1&osl=ENI substituted a supposedly good floppy with same results.
