I've tried everything I could find except running Windows 7 repair from a disk(don't have one). will that fix the issue? Anything I could try? Have a Toshiba C655 with 4 gigs Ram. Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your computer.I'll try to lay the whole thing out in blocks so that we can see exactly what is going on here Fritz. :) Fritz: I've tried everything I could find It's going to be useful to us at this stage to have a full and detailed diagnostics write-up of what you have tried so far, so as not to start covering the same ground that you have already dug over.Fritz: Connection sharing not working What sort of share connection are we talking about here ? - Ethernet Lan, Wireless Lan, Ad-Hoc, P2P, Opera Unite, BitTorrent ? Fritz: Windows 7 repair from a disk(don't have one). will that fix the issue? A Windows Repair Disk can be made from within the Windows 7 environment, so cant quite understand the "Dont have one" statement ???????will that fix the issue? (i.e. - The Repair Disk) The repair disk can be used in many ways including recovery to an earlier stage in time when you made your backup (System Image/Disk Image), A "System Restore", A Windows Memory Diagnostic, A Startup Repair, and access to command prompts. MANEMAN Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 Add-On for Fritz.Doubtless you will have already made a "System Backup", (What sensible person wouldn't have ? ) But for others reading who are new to computing here is a further guide: Create a System Image in Windows 7, and use Repair Disk to Re-install.
