crimsonjohn001 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Share Posted February 5, 2011 SINCE I HAVE INSTALLED WINDOWS 7 64 BITIF I SET MY SETTINGS TO DOWNLOAD AND ASK ME TO INSTALL.AND THEN CHECK THE SETTING AGAIN A DAY OR SO LATER,IT HAS DEFAULTED BACK TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE.ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE?OR ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.THX Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bludgard Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 Hello.Welcome to Windows Forum.When you manually change the settins in Windows Update,make sure you choose to apply/save or any other confimative prompts that may show on the user interface.Otherwise things do not get changed to begin with.;) Check the settings again.Pay particular attention to applying/saving custom settings-don't just click on the "X" in the corner of the window to close it.If this has nothing to do with your particular issue,there may be other options....
