panthersfan25
Hello All,I have a client that has just opened a new branch. There are now two offices (for clarification, sites will be called A & B). A is the main office and has 10 workstations, B is a new branch located 200 miles away, and has 5 workstations. They want to be able to connect to a unified system in which A & B can share software resources, such as the software used to issue PO#'s. They want to make sure that the companies do not create duplicate PO#'s. Obviously, there may be a need for more licenses. But my question is, what hardware is required to make this happen, does it have to be a VPN or what are the possibilities? Also, if anyone can provide in detail the process that will occur once the network is in place, I would greatly appreciate it, I am new to networking and am unsure of the process. For example, how many servers will be needed? How can shared network drives be configured between the two locations?, etc. Thanks!!
