Cart
alright, so I'm a 'nix user, and I'm most certainly not as ept at Windows (after 98). However I needed it for a project, and so I installed a legitimate copy I got from a friend of mine, and I got it working and all. eventually the SNR on the mobo's integrated sound card got me to want to kill myself. so I got a new Soundcard (Asus Xonar DS), installed the drivers and all that jazz, but all of the sudden I couldn't open my program (without "run as administrator")So I was wondering how exactly I could get windows to actually run things properly without doing anything to drastic (this computer technically isn't mine). Digerati
and so I installed a legitimate copy I got from a friend of mineNot sure what that means. What makes it a legitimate "copy"?I would uninstall the sound drivers and card and reboot. Then start over again, this time making sure you install from an administrator account to all users, and as an administrator (right click on executable).
