laysman217 Posted February 26, 2011 Report Share Posted February 26, 2011 Hi All,i was just wondering if it is possible for me to partition my external hard drive in the same way as you would partition your C drive(as explained by AlanHo's brilliant thread on drive partitioning). and then format that partition to FAT32 instead of NTFS so it can be used on PS3 without harming the data on the other partition within my external HD.overview: - 500GB external HD, drive letter F: - create second partition of size 25GB allocate drive letter E: - format E: to FAT32 while f: stays as NTFS - All of the above without deleting contents of F:Maybe this cannot be done im not sure. the part of this that i would be concerned about is wether or not i can format E: without automatically(by default) formatting F: also.All comments are extremely welcome.Regards Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
