Formating drive C

Recommended Posts

First off do not post your e-mail address as you leave yourself open to lots of extra spam.

If you have an installation disk, start your computer up and press the relevant key to enter the BIOS /boot menu and set your CD/DVD to first boot, then press F10 to save the settings.

Insert your XP CD into the appropriate drive then reboot your computer, it will then boot from the CD, when it asks to press any key do as it says and away you go.

If it is on a recovery partition then it will be reset to factory settings, and the splash screen when you first start the computer up should tell you which key to press to access the recovery partition.

Just had a thought, have you tried running Malwarebytes, that should remove the virus.
