Guest lb
welcome to the forum suddenhave you tried running the games in compatability mode?I know for an example that total annihilation wont run on XP without it.Right Click on the shortcut to the program you want to run, select the compatability tab and change the drop down menu to Windows 98.This will force windows 2000 to run the game as if it were windows 98.I have run a search and there doesnt seem to be any particular problem with Vice City returning to desktop - but i have never played the game so i am certainly not an expert.hope this helps. Guest lb
have you tried uninstalling the games, cleaning your registry and reinstalling the games?it could be a corrupt registry key pointing the game to look at a different graphics driver....the only other thing that i can think of is the hyperthreading but i cant see how it would affect it...
