Snbaeeqa Posted July 26, 2011 Report Share Posted July 26, 2011 I'm using Vista Home Basic 32bitWhen I try to move a folder I created or the files in it which I also created I receive the following:You need permission to perform this action.I am the administrator on this machine no one uses it but me. I can't move it or delete it or change it in any way without getting the above message. The file I'm working with is on my external drive. I have never come across a problem like this.
