recidivist
Hello all,Does anyone know a way in which upon opening a file, you may keep windows from switching to it's parent application? Instead I would like to have Windows simply open it in the background, making it less invasive. Is this something you can achieve globally, or is it an issue within each application? Thanks. Digerati
In most cases, it is up to the program you open, but it is normally assumed you want to use the most recent program you start. A program MAY have an option to minimize when open, but don't count on it. If you use a shortcut to open, check the shortcut properties, then the "Run" option. The default is Normal, but the minimize option MAY work for you.
Geekman
Some program don't work in background. So you can't do that to every application you use.
