StaringThroughWindows Posted November 5, 2011 Report Share Posted November 5, 2011 Windows 7 on my Acer aspire 5755g stopped playing any sound.In the audio device window(right clicking realtek audio manager in start up -> audio devices ) it shows that speakers are working(the green bar goin up and down when music is playing) but no sound from speakers or headphones(yes i am a noob). Then i restored to a previous point and i got the sound back(the system uninstalled the libre office-just mentionin)i installed some more softwares again libre office and some basic stuff my friends are running smoothly....aftr abt 3 hours the audio stopped again Now i updated the windows and again the sound came back...few more software installs(jdk again,soundbird) the sound stopped after an hour runnin.........i dont think the installation of software is the problem,but i dont know what is i also ran sfc /scannow Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
