I've had this going on forever tried everything I can to fix it and nothing.

Asus notebook K52jr, Windows 7 64bit home premium, Upgraded memory from 4-8gs.

Problem installing iTunes.

"there is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could no be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I've gotten this error every time i try to upgrade my Itunes to 10.5 (not sure current version)

Ive done it all - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315346

restart Windows installer service,

sfc/scannow

WoW64 in Regedit

i did a rollback on my registry to one of my CCleaner backups

Nothing works, I want to update my Ipods firmware to 5.0 and I need Itunes 10.5 to do that. Help!
