Unable to modify user account, even as administrator.

I've just installed Windows XP Home Edition on a laptop.

I created two accounts during setup, so I now have three accounts in total, Administrator, Acc1, and Acc2.

Once windows was installed, I set the user group of Acc1 and Acc2 to Users via "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2".

Now, Acc2 isn't being displayed in the welcome screen, the "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS" dialog, or the "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2" dialog. Acc1 is a restricted user and is displaying fine.

I know Acc2 exists, because I can log into the account via the old school non welcome screen log on prompt and when I attempt to create a new account called Acc2, it won't let me because Acc2 already has access to the computer.

When I login to Acc2, in the "CONTROL USERPASSWORDS" dialog, it says the user group is Guest. (???)

Also, while logged in as Acc2, in the start menu, the account picture is not displayed. (I am assuming this is because it is a Guest account.)

There are no setting for Acc2 (this is a fresh install), so I have no reservations about deleting the account, but how? It doesn't show up anywhere for me to delete the account, including while in safe mode!

How do I resolve this issue?

Thanks!
