SJCarline
ok I already know where the ram is...windows in its infinate wisdom allocated 4GB!!! to my pcie card. the thing already has 2 gb what in the world would i need a 6 gb video card for? I've already done some research and its always the same answer "uncheck the max mem box and turn off on board video cards" which i've done...after that it just kind of fizzles out without and answer...thats just rediculous...i understand that windows needs some room for its self which is fine but it shouldn't be alocating memory to a dedicated vid card and before anyone says "well it needs that space for other things like irq and requests" well it dont need no 4gb! I just spent 2 hrs searching google please tell me someone in a windows forum can help me out with a windows issue...
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
How can you tell that Windows allocates how much memory to a video card? Can you show us some screenshots?
