AYUSHSMILE01
I have a 1TB transcend external hard disk with 4 partitions in it, out of which one is bitlocker encrypted. While trying to make one partition bootable something went wrong and only 1 of the 4 partition was accessible. With some partition recovery wizard, 2 partition was recovered, but was unable to revcover the bitlocker encrypted drive, it is not even detecting it as a partition. I havent formatted the free space to make a new partition, as the datas are encrypted, i am afraid if i can recover them using any "Deleted file recovery software" Please suggest some ways to recover it. MANEMAN
Wouldn't hold out too much hope of you personally getting your data back in this case. Best to post it off to specialists. Why do I think that ? If you've already messed up doing something simple without any forethought of a contingency plan, you are more than likely going to mess up bigtime doing something complex. I genuinely hope you prove me wrong. Always backup before messing with partition software. Always backup. - Period ! ( That's the contingency plan you overlooked. ) Backup and Disk Imaging software has never been cheaper. - As in "Free."Unfortunately many people start to reach for it, and use it after the horse has bolted. (i.e data lost) John.
