Windows 7 VPN Issue

I have a windows 7 ultimate setup at home allowing a VPN connections via ptppp using the incoming setup.

I set up the Client which is my Ipad 2 the connection goes through fine authenticating and then connected internally within the network and externally outside the network. Everything seems work prefectly

here comes the problems;

The client(iPad 2) loses internet browsing capability if I turn On the option to send all traffic however if the send all traffic is off then everything works fine. It's only my assumption that the reason why the internet works when the send all traffic is Off via my iPad 2 to the windows 7 machine is because it created a split tunnel which allows me to use the IAPD 2 without problems

However

My goal is to be able to turn On Send All traffic and it works. Having all data passthrough the windows machine

Please help

Hi.

My first thought here is, that if you are having to write to a forum for help you must have somehow managed to miss a rung on the ladder of the learning curve of VPN and the iPad, or that you are using a free VPN service.

A paid VPN provider should give you product support and sometimes it's own forum. I take it that this is an unpaid (and on your part, - un-named) VPN, and just something you've lashed together yourself from the app. store, or other source for the computer.

Important question to ask is: "Does my VPN provider supply support ?" - If it does you may be scratching around for answers unneccessarily.

Here are a few links to re-establish what may have been missed.

Important question to ask is: "Am I in the best place to get the fastest response ?"

Do remember that in specialised subjects it is sometimes best to search for specific websites to obtain answers to specific problems. In that way you are more likely to get more hits from people with "the same problem." Here are a few links as a guide to how you may wish to search in the future.

If you should find that VPN is not really your requirement and that you have "Over Geeked" perhaps you would be more satisfied with encrypted remote desktop instead.

Have a look at the following links.
