Jacob
Hello,I want to make a recovery cd for a Toshiba laptop at the point when I have removed all the free spam ware that came bundled onto windows. Then I would not have to repeat removal on future fresh installs. Is this possible in winows or other software? Is this 'PC imaging'? Thanks
bludgard
Hi, Jacob. This process is called (among other terms) system or disc imaging. As XP has no native imaging software, one well trusted program to handle this task would be Macrium Reflect. The free version will suffice. Although there are many and varied products that can image a hard drive, I throw this out there just to get the ball rolling. I am ecstatic to see someone actively seeking a backup regimen. Koodos and cheers, JobeWankanobe

Looks to be a promising piece of programming to pass along to those w/OEM.Thanks, pat.
