haja
I did install Win7 on a HD configured as IDE. I now purchased an SSD which has pretty bad performance with IDE (even booting takes forever). Therefore, I switched to AHCI but now when I try to start the system I always get "Startup Repair Your computer was unable to start. Startup Repair is checking your system for problems...". I have backups of the original system both made with Windows Backup and EaseUS Todo Backup. How can I get this to work on my SSD & AHCI without having to reinstall the OS and programs? Rubenv
probably reinstal , had the same when i bought my ssd and switched, after instal it was fine , just make a backup on the HD for your files and programs, (make a backup partition) and delete the windows partition ( or keep if you are paranoid) and instal windows on the SSD and change the startup device to the SSD
