oct562 Posted October 6, 2012 Report Share Posted October 6, 2012 I have been using Zonealarm Internet Security Suite for about 5 years, and althought I have never had a problem with malware ever, I would like to know some other options now that I have to renew my license ($40). I must say that I also use Deep Freeze Standard (for the last 2 years). I guess this combination is the key to avoid issues with any type of security.Now, by reading reviews, I have learn ZA is not longer the best, so I want to explore other secutity software, but my question is which software will have the same feature I like in ZA: Application Control, where I can control which application have access to the net. I don't want programs to be calling home without my knowledge & authorization.I have checked ZA free edition, but obviously its app control feauture has not the same versatility as their paid version.Will Kaspersky, Bitdefender, or any other will have this "application control" feature too?
