SF1983
Earlier this year I set my laptop (Windows 7) to Region 1 to watch a US DVD. I have just tried to set the DVD back to Region 2 and the following message keeps appearing: "Unable to update region setting. The drive reports that it requires media of the destination region (region 2) so please insert appropriate media and try again".I have tried inserting different Region 2 DVDs but the drive doesn't seem to recognise them and the same message appears. I have 3 DVD region changes left and the Update Driver Software is up-to-date so I have no idea why it's not working. Please help!SFPS. The laptop is a Sony VPCEE3E0E and the drive is TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633C SATA CdRom Device.
Boris
Just use this little freebie (Passkey Lite) :-http://www.dvdfab.com/passkey-lite.htmwhich allows you to freely watch any DVD with no region limit
