MANEMAN
Hi there. As Windows CE is based on Windows 95 it may do you well to consider a more up-to-date operating system based on some of the Linux distros.Puppeee was designed especially for your particular notebook but is itself now aged in comparison to some of the other distros. ( http://puppylinux.org/wikka/Puppeee ) Download Here: >>>>> http://smokey01.com/...mah/Puppeee1.0/Believe it or not someone turned up on my doorstep about 18months ago with a newish Chinese notebook that they had purchased, and it had installed upon it.......... Yep ! Windows CE. OS was O.K the hardware that surrounded it was rubbish so I refused to fix it.Whichever OS you may finally decide to install is dependent on the model of your Eee I would have thought. As for installing Windows CE ? - You need to do a little bit reading on the subject to understand what can and cannot be done. And be prepared perhaps for dissapointment. The following links will show you how to download and install CE.http://tech-stuff-ho...ll-windows.htmlhttp://www.microsoft...temRequirementshttp://www.microsoft...developers.aspxhttp://www.microsoft...developers.aspxhttp://www.ehow.com/...ows-ce-5_0.htmlhttp://www.ehow.com/...ndow-ce-os.htmlhttp://www.ehow.com/...re-version.htmlhttp://www.ehow.com/...dows-ce-50.htmlhttp://www.ehow.com/...-ce-webpad.htmlJohn.
