doug
Just been talking to monkey in the caht room, yes some people still do visit. Apparently he hasn't got a CD reader in this laptop. Come on folks, all I can provide him on floppy is Win 3.11. Does anyone remember that? Given our communal expertise in here, can we put together a better solution. He says it has a 2 GB HDD.

doug
Ellas have suggested to monkey that this would be better in the hardware section. Will you shift it rather than starting a new thread and posting links?
monkeyhanger
Hi monkey 1So what do you require. Is it win 95 on floppy or win 95 on c\d.I have a spare win95 c\d + licence, that you can have for free if your desperate. I also have an OEM 95 boot disk floppy. This loads 95 in dos. The hard drive MUST be formated. This disk will take windows to factory settings e.g. end user must put the licence number in before machine will run. The boot disk does have a very good list of generic cdrom drivers on it. Have you tried booting with a 98se boot disk, just to get the cdrom working?
