How to change Windows 7 root folder?

Recommended Posts

That is not the "root folder"; root is C:\

That is the %windir% or %systemroot% folder. Windows NT and 2000 named that folder WINNT, but after that it was named the same as Windows 9x: Windows.

Search Google for "answer file" and "targetpath" on methods how to change the Windows install folder name.
