turkeyfarmer898 Posted August 7, 2013 Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Have an old hard drive - Hitachi Deskstar model HDT722516DLAT80 ATA/IDEThis was running windows xp.Bought a USB 2.0 to IDE AdapterPlugged it in, everything lights ups.Computer recognizes it as usb mass storage device under device managerI do not see the device under computer I would like to recover files if i can from this drive.I would then like to reformat it.
