Nickey
Hey everyone, im NIckey and I can help with all XP, 2000, ME, and 98SE problems! I can probably help you the most with Windows 2000 as I grew up with it and my school system used it until about 2007 when they upgraded to XP. So I guess ill see you all around the forum! Sorry if this is brief for an intro but i was strapped for time when I did this.

Nickey
Also to add on, I just finished a project where I refurbished an IBM Thinkpad R51 that I picked up from the thrift store. I threw a 20gb IDE IBM HDD, a Copy of WIN 2000 Pro SP4 and 7 driver installs later, im now typing this on it. It has a wireless card too yay, but the downside is that it can only take WEP security. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum! Windows 2000 was a wonderful, very stable operating system, but I don't think many people use it any more. Mostly because almost no modern software would run on it. I believe that XP is still the most widely used Windows version, although I don't know if this will change once Microsoft will stop supporting it about half a year from now.
