moon
I know my ISP has tech problems but would it cause this?YEP.You should always have an alternative ISP which you can connect to in order to see if your main man is down. Squaremail is a good one for pay-as-you-go dialup, http://www.squaremail.co.ukJust open an email account (with any alternative ISP) and when you have problems just go to 'Connections' and select it as your alternative. It serves as a standin until such times as your regular ISP is up again or you give it the old heave-ho for being a useless load of tossers and get one that does what it says on the tin. BT is reliable, for the extra quid per month. Freeserve sux, and Tiscali is OK. :)I didn't mention AOL because I know you're a sensitive person. :D
