TekNicTerror
Not sure if this is a Windows or Framework problem, but here goes since I found a link to a framework question in this subforum..I was having some problems running a MMO client, I posted of the client and installer both presenting windows messages of them both stopping working. Installer stop working details-Description: Stopped workingProblem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: firefallinstaller.exe Problem Signature 02: 1.0.0.0 Problem Signature 03: 522f9cb2 Problem Signature 04: mscorlib Problem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 503f01b1 Problem Signature 07: 1b2b Problem Signature 08: c Problem Signature 09: System.IO.FileNotFoundException OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033Read our privacy statement online:http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt game client stop working details-Description: Stopped workingProblem signature: Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: launcher.exe Problem Signature 02: 1.0.0.0 Problem Signature 03: 51e77b5b Problem Signature 04: mscorlib Problem Signature 05: 2.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 503f01b1 Problem Signature 07: 1b2b Problem Signature 08: c Problem Signature 09: System.IO.FileNotFoundException OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033Read our privacy statement online:http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txtI was also told to reinstall Framework 3.5 by this link - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150 It didn't help any; then I was told to run ngen.exe update in command prompt, and got this-Then I was told I would either have to repair windows or try googling the text for how to fix this. Well I did do a little searching, then decided to just try and repair the Frameworks, but I could only repair 4's Client Profile and Extended in add/remove programs under control panel; couldn't even find a 3.5's to repair. I got this running ngen.exe update after repairing the 4's-So now I am just wondering if it is possible to repair (or just uninstall and reinstall) all the frameworks; I am pretty sure I have 2.0 as well as 3.5 besides 4; or need to repair windows, or do I just wipe my PC and have the windows go back to the factory setting it came in (PS, I have no Windows 7 CD/DVD, my PC came with no disks for the OS or apps at all, a HP PC that was on sale at the time)? Unless there is another option for me?
