lathamc Posted October 21, 2013 Report Share Posted October 21, 2013 I have a Samsung ATIV Book 8, and I upgraded to Windows 8.1 on the 18th. After several hours of troubleshooting the OS when I first got it installed, I was able to get it working later that day. However, I still am having a huge issue with battery life. Under Windows 8, I would get about 7 hours, but I now only get 4 max. It doesn't help at all that the SW Update software from Samsung doesn't list any driver updates for Windows 8.1. I have tried updating the Intel display driver, but it hasn't helped. In addition, I can't use the keyboard toggles to turn brightness up and down. I also can't use system settings to do that.
