Hi all,

I'm after a Navman 3450 GPS unit for my new IPAQ, however i can only find them around the price of £280 - £300.

If anyone can find me one for £200 - £250 please let me know!

Thanks for that.

I have been looking at expansys, but didnt notice the B grade stock.

In the mean time i have won TomTom Navigator 2 on ebay at £156.

To be honest i'm not sure which to go for now, as although the Navman is more compact and in one piece compared to TomTom, TomTom does allow thirdparty software like an addon that tells you where speed cameras are.

What do you think i should go for?!

well if you are doing the speed limit then speed cameras shouldn't be a problem and I really can't see what is wrong with putting your directions on a bit of paper.

I always get there.............. eventually!!

Have you considered a compact flash GPS unit. You can get them for about £60-£70 and work with all software.

I am considering getting one for our sony clie nx73v. ;)

I think the TomTom Navigator 2 is expensive. I am sure I have seen it elsewere for a lot less. The tom tom also has a quick start facility, so you don't have to wait for it to warm up. It is considered far better than the navman.

Too expensive?!

It's one of the cheapest GPS systems of this quality around!

I think i may forgo the eBay transaction and try my luck with the b-grade Navman at expansys.

Afterall a little cosmetic damage may not be visable when the ipaq is sat in the thing. Plus i have the advantage i can walk around with it.
