Lamb Chop
1. I have it set for windows to do all the drivers upgrades and it took 3 or more days to get down all of the updates and drivers. And putting on devices it put in drivers immediately. So has to be working. But some of the updates for other items failed - several times in fact. Searched Windows but cant find how to get these updates again and to rid it of failure items as it says all up to date but cant be now can it? I have checked the failures are still failed. 2. I have a problem with open windows, perhaps explain better with using a program. Revo uninstaller, now it sets a restore point then starts the programs uninstaller, right? Well problem using it is - like using open windows, can not get the uninstaller in front of the Revo program window so of course then wait endlessly etc. Just wont stay in front, if I could have minimized Revo window it would be there, but cant do that - see the problem something that should not happen. But does on all program open - have to minimize as cant get it up even if it itself is minimized. Usually uyou can have several open and click on task bar icon and it will come in front of current window right? (in the end I had to go and get it uninstalled via windows which is quick but does it take out the deeper files and registry items that Revo does? If so by now Revo would surely be obsolete.) So there need how to get the failed updates off and then get them down because seemingly wont update as thinks the failures are not etc. And how to make the programs minimized to task bar pop up in front of the open one or even stay there they do pop up but then disappear and wondered if my mouse which is supposed to be all updated drivers etc and M$ one with software installed. Very annoying but more so cant use Revo Uninstaller which has always done a good job.
Lamb Chop
Partly solved issues myself. Downloaded Belarc and it gave me 4 critical updates all on installed software and doing that helped a bit to keep the mouse in place long enough to use Driver Genius which found 9 packages of drivers out of date, so much for windows updates, anyway installed all of those and it is working much better. Still a bit iffy on getting things to stay open in front of others. But getting there. One of the things needed updating was Quick Time and uninstalling and reinstalling new version did make the first immediate difference and then new I Tunes too. But still have 2 windows patches that I cant fix yet. At least it is a lot faster and keeping and no "not responding"

Lamb Chop
Pat sorted most but one and I think it fails because it is wrong in that it is for "M$ keyboard - M$ hardware - USB keyboard"Right but mine is a M$ 3000 but it is wired. Must be wrong surely? ( I bought wired as had run out of ports on Dell and a hub never worked properly -and seeing as most used letters are blank now in less than 1 year will get a USB next - less messy than buying the tiles over)
Lamb Chop
Hey Pat forgot, now using Pale Moon and as you said, it is faster than Firefox as good as FF once was, and hasn't been lately and using the 32 bit as they say the 64 may not get the add-ons etc anyway works well. Easy import of all settings too. And off I went wont look back either. :D
