Rex M Posted July 21, 2022 Report Share Posted July 21, 2022 Hello senthilv85, DLL error 126 are pretty common on Windows server. This error informs us of an issue with the Dynamic Link Library(DLL). Usually, the error shows up because the file is corrupted or missing. However, the problem may be outdated drivers too. Thus to fix this error, you can try the below-given steps, Disable security program Reinstall the program causing an error Install and update the firmware drivers Run Windows troubleshooter and perform a system check Disable security program: Disable your security program. Uninstall and reinstall the program that gave you Dll error 126/127. Run the program without enabling antivirus to check if the error comes back. You should add an exclusion rule within your security software if you do not receive an error. Reinstall the program causing an error: Uninstalling and reinstalling the program that gives an error might solve the problem. Type Control Panel in the Windows search box. Click on the program in the results list. Navigate to the Category tab. Click Uninstall a Program option located under Programs. Find the program on the list, click it and choose Uninstall. Install and update the firmware drivers: Firstly, right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager from the drop-down list. In the Device Manager, locate the Firmware option and extend it. There you will get the System Firmware option. Right-click on it and choose Update Driver. When the procedure gets finished, reboot the server. Run Windows troubleshooter and perform a system check: Right-click the Start button and choose Command Prompt with Admin rights from the list. On the Command Prompt, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter. Wait until the scan gets completed. If Windows detects any errors, they will be fixed automatically.
