Vizjerie
I have a brand new HP Envy laptop, when I first got it i wanted to downgrade windows 8 to windows 7 so i used a disc i had from a different computer but after the installation reach the point of restarting, it tells me the version of win 7 is not compatible so i decided against the idea and cancelled it and instead just went for Classic Shell. now each time i restart the computer, this screen shows up and i have to click windows 8 to launch it, when i click the other option, it just gives me a bunch of errors thats in sys32/windows. what do i do? besides restoring everthing. if it comes to that then i will do that but i want to try to avoid reinstalling so many things i have that takes ages. thank you. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
How did you install Windows 7 - on a separate partition, or over Windows 8? If it was over W8, then you may have no other option but to reinstall completely. Unless you took a backup before starting the W7 install.
