sqn Posted October 10, 2003 Report Share Posted October 10, 2003 I own a XP pro with sp1 and I had a hdd crash a day ago.This is how the problem started:My computer has 2 hdds the OS on and data on the outher.While i was working in Office my windows found a new device (my hdd, maxtor 40 - slim) with the name Q?W.. something... I looked in my computer and the second hdd wasn't there, so i've restarted my computer. It stated normaly an there ware the 2 partitions of the second drive with one exception the firs partition was unaccesible, at propreties says that the file system is row. Ive tryd to chack with scandisk, withe the drive checker from partition magig 8 pro, but no results... the only clear error i've got was from partition magic whitch said invalid adta file, so i suspected an NTFS file system error.Pls help me recovery if it is posibly my data from that drive...:(Thx in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
