And now, i can not login into windows, before i required no password or login, and now i do???? what the hell happened. Please help. thanks. Download it here. After unzipping the compressed file, you'll end up with four files. To install Tweak UI, right-click the Tweakui.inf file and choose Install from the shortcut menu. To use TweakUI, open Control Panel and double-click its icon. The automatic logon option is in the Logon tab.And speaking of the logon...in Windows 2000 there is a username called administrator when Windows 2000 is setup for the first time. This creates the first account and DO NOT forget your password! By logging in as Administrator you can create additional accounts in Control Panel/Users and Passwords to accommodate network usernames and additional users. The is also a special Guest account that is disabled by default. You can enable it if you wish any user to have access to a login using any username and password. Be aware of the security concerns for such an action!Also of special interest to network administrators: if the machine is setup to join an NT or W2K domain, then the domain administrator is automatically added to the Administrators group on that PC. That means the network administrator can logon to that computer.In the Users and Passwords option you will also be able to login to that area as an administrator without having to restart the computer (this is handy if the machine is logged on as an ordinary or power user and you need to do some administrative tasks). Craig Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 Which O/S are you using?As Paul points out you can hit the del key for 95, 98, Me and this will get you in to configure everything.If you are running 2000, XP, or Sever editions you will need to use your O/S setup disc.
