FOX HUNTING

I was born and raised on a farm.

There are alternative, far more humane ways of controlling foxes in the event that they become a pest, but the majority of arguments against them are false to begin with; the greatest threat to farm stock (especially poultry and wild hedgerow bird life) is from domestic/feral/semi-feral cats, followed by rats and mink (that escaped originally from fur farms). The damage caused by cats is unbelievable.

I'd agree that hunting with dogs in all forms should be well and truly banned. And that's from someone with a very rural upbringing.

I'd put it right up there with Bear-baiting and setting Pit Bull dogs against each other. Man's barbarity towards dumb animals knows no bounds. Oh, and bullfighting isn't much better.
