I have got the real game, it came the day after the release from Amazon.

Rebel, I had made the original post before the proper game had been released.

The game is a bit crappy online - too many bunny jumpers and spray and pray for my liking. It doesn't even come close to Mohaa.

The single player, however, I enjoyed, especially the stalingrad level, but it could have been harder with more hidden snipers. The AI also can't hit a barn door!

Got it for Christmas so I thought I'd share my thoughts :)

The campaign is the most atmospheric and involving set of missions of any game I've ever played - especially the first Russian level and when you're holding the bridge as the British. Very few games make you genuinely nervous or take your breath away like CoD does; I don't want to spoil any of it but looking behind you and seeing everyone on the boat with you floating in the water amongst the ruins is quite scary.

Online depends entirely on the server and game mode. I had an awful game of S&D where it was nothing but grenade whorage, but tonight a deathmatch was a lot of fun with different tactics clearly present and a nice bunch of people as well. If you're on ISDN, cable or higher the enjoyment is potentially very high; it is a bit of pot-luck, though, in regard to servers.

I'd recommend it even if you're slightly bored of the WW2 genre...it's a cut above the rest.
