For example if i wanted to create an NT boot disk with cdrom support, is there a means by which i can pin point what driver my cd rom currently points to?Also, another quick question, i can boot my 98 machine directly into DOS mode, but don't have the option on the NT box. Can anyone provide a brief description as to how dos differs in 9x windows and NT/2000 etc. I assume the dos shell you can invoke while in windows is the same in each case except the version?Cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Grim Reaper Posted November 4, 2003 Report Share Posted November 4, 2003 i am on XP and am not sure how windows 98 differs as its a long time since i have used it, but on XP if you go to device manager, select the properties of the device you wish to view, click the driver tab and click driver details, it shows the driver files that are used for that device and their location.
