gunn Posted November 6, 2003 Author Report Share Posted November 6, 2003 the connection is slower about 1/2 or 1/3 the speed of internet connection in computer1 (as computer that share its internet connection to others).Assume that my computer2 as computer that get the connection from computer1.Should i do some configuration in computer2?? in computer2, i get the internet connection through its LAN card n net adapter.BTW, i don't know what is net adapter, can somebody explain to me?? Most NICs are designed for a particular type of network, protocol, and media, although some can serve multiple networks.I am by no means a network expert but as i understand it, computer 2 has to visit computer 1 every time it wants to download something from the net (wether it is a web page, a picture or whatever). Therefore it is effectively making a further journey than if you were just browsing on computer 1.
